Excelian official visit to the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (NCAIR) Abuja. Fostering working relationships on emerging technologies for National development.
One of NITDA’s special purpose vehicles, the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), was established to encourage research and development on cutting-edge technologies as well as their practical application in areas of Nigerian national interest.
The Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI), located at No. 790 Cadastral Zone, Wuye District, Abuja, shares a building complex with the state-of-the-art center and its cutting-edge digital fabrication laboratory (FabLab).
In accordance with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy, NCAIR is a digital innovation and research facility that focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and drones, the internet of things (IoT), and other new technologies (NDEPS). The building of a thriving ecosystem for innovation-driven entrepreneurship (IDE), job creation, and national development is another goal of NCAIR.
In addition, NCAIR engages in R&D collaboration with academic institutions and other organizations, including R&D consulting and the creation of high-tech goods and services.
